World Tourism Day is celebrated this year on 27 September and will take place in Budapest, Hungary. This year’s theme will be Tourism and Digital Transformation. This event aims to raise awareness of the potential of digital technologies in tourism development.
The World Tourism Organization believes that digital developments and advances play a key role in reconciling continued growth with greater sustainability and accountability in the tourism sector.
