The Flower Festival is a tribute to Spring and aims to make known the various floral species on the island of Madeira. This event attracts people from all over the world and locals too.
It is one of the biggest festivals in Madeira and starts on April 19 and runs through May 6.

- Exhibitions and animation in downtown Funchal;
- The ceremony of the Wall of Hope;
- Great Allegorical Courtship;
- Madeira Auto Parade;
- Concerts “The sound of Flowers”;
- Floral exhibitions.
