What do I have to do to rent a car?

To rent a car with us you can do it through our website, telephone contact or in person.

How many km can I do?

Mileage is unlimited. You can thus enjoy the vehicle and our island without any limits.

Can I choose the car I want to reserve?

Depending on the availability of the car.

Can I take the car to Porto Santo?

Yes of course. Once you have the rental agreement between the dates you wish to go to Porto Santo.

Are you open on holidays?

Yes we are.

How can I pay the rent?

The payment of the rent can be done in cash or credit card through Paypal.

Does the car come with full tank?

Regarding the tank we can deliver full, medium or 1/4 tank. The customer returns exactly the same when the car was delivered to him.

What happens if the car is stolen?

In case of theft you should contact PSP (Public Security Police) Tel and Rent-A-Car Tel.

Are my assets covered by insurance against theft?

No, the responsibility for the goods is entirely the responsibility of the customer.

Can I add a second driver?

Yes of course. For this it is enough that the second driver is at least 21 years old and provides us with his driving license with the respective data.

What is the minimum age to rent a car?

The minimum age for renting a car is 21 years.

I was fined. How can I pay the fine?

The customer can go to our store and we treat the subject in the best way. To do this, it is enough that you have the fine with you and we deal with the payment.

Can I use my child seat?

Yes you can.

Do I incur additional charges if I want to change / cancel my reservation?

What documents do I need to present at the time of picking up the vehicle?

The documents requested at the time of picking up the vehicle are the driving license and the passport or identification card.

I do not have a driving license with me. Can I pick up the car?

No. Because, the driving license is essential to be presented on the day to lift the vehicle, as well as to make the rental agreement.

Can I change the rental period while it is already running?

Yes you can. Simply after confirming the availability of our reservations.

What do I do in case of an accident?

In case of accident call us immediately. In the rental agreement you are provided with our contact. And, consequently, we will take the necessary measures.

What are the procedures in case of vehicle breakdown?

If any malfunction occurs, just call us and we will take care of the situation.

How do I return the car?

The return of the car is usually done in our store. However, if you want to deliver in another place, just let us know. If the delivery is made at the airport this will have an additional cost of 25 euros.

If I return the vehicle before the time I receive a refund for the time period that you do not enjoy?

No. We work with periods of 24 hours. The time the customer receives the car is the same time that he will return on the last day of the rental.

What is the procedure if you return the vehicle with damages?

If the customer has the insurance, in case of an accident you will not have to pay anything for the damages caused. However, if you do not have the insurance included you will then have to pay the damage done.

Can I return the vehicle after the combined time?

Yes you can. But if this exceeds one hour you will have to pay another day’s rent.

When will I receive the rental invoice?

It is sent to the email that indicated us.
